Get to know Afghan actor in Iran films, series

Bashir Ahmad Nikzad is one of the most notable Afghan actors appearing in several Iranian movies and series.

The actor was born in Kabul but has lived in Iran for some 30 years.

He acted in several Iranian features, short films, and series, including ‘Suitcase’ by Mohammad Pasdar and ‘Damascus Time’ by Ebrahim Hatamikia.

Most recently, he has acted in Iranian short film ‘The Hive’ directed by Mostafa Davtalab and Tahereh Shabanian.

The short follows Farkhondeh, a young Afghan woman who intends to return to Kabul. She boards a bus to reach the railway station. On the bus, a young girl leaves something in  Farkhondeh’s trust.
